Very honored to be on the Fast Hours podcast this week with Rory Flynn and Drew Brucker! The show is about AI for creative professionals, which is obviously a good fit for me, but it's also a very cool full-circle moment for me.
Rory is actually the person who showed me the potential of MidJourney back in 2023 with Midjourney v6. Up until then, I saw it as a slop factory (and to be fair, that's how most people used it).
He was the first person I saw using it with a designer's eye. After talking with him for an hour or so, it completely changed my mind and got me to see AI in a whole new way... which lead me down the rabbit hole I've been going down for the last 2 years or so.
We go really deep on the topic of AI for creative professionals and cover a lot of things I haven't heard on any other show, like how to use sketches and hand-drawn assets to push the models into new territory.
